There is still Good in this world

I started ordering from the company Chewy.com a few years ago. The auto ordering is so convenient and having dog, cat and rabbit food delivered to your door once a month is pretty awesome. And their prices are great. But this summer I accidentally ordered an extra bag of cat food, that at the time, I could not afford and I emailed them right away but it was at night so they did not get the email until the next morning and the order had already shipped. So they reimbursed me the money but gave me the cat food anyway. So I wrote to them and thanked them profusely. They then asked me to send them a photo of my pets. So I did. And I got this wonderful hand written thank you note from Chewy.

I was so impressed that I got a handwritten note from a large company. This note has been on the refrigerator since.

Then today, I was outside picking flowers, when the fed ex guy stopped in front of my house and handed me a package. I had not ordered anything so I had no idea what it was. But it was from Chewy.

Inside were three wrapped square packages...

These square canvases were hand painted portraits of Paso, Finn and Wallace !!

I did not order these. I got a free $65 bag of cat food and a handwritten note and thought the company went above and beyond. Already said I would stay with them after that!! Then I get this as a surprise ?? It really does give me tremendous hope of the good in this world.

Thank you Chewy.com! I will cherish these beautiful painting forever. I do not know who the artist is or who actually sent them but I want the world to know that this company went above and beyond more than any company I have ever done business with.

Thank you Chewy, you made my year... maybe next year too.
